I didn't realize how behind I was on blogging until I realized that my last post was about "Oz". Whoops. The next couple of days (a.k.a my Journalistic Writing class periods) I will be playing catch-up on all the stuff I missed. So first up, my friend Courtney's 18th birthday party. It was super cute because it was "Great Gatsby" themed and so all of us got to dress up in 20s gear-which was a blast. I found my great-grandma's vintage flapper girl dress and fur coat in the basement and I was ecstatic to be able to wear it! It was fun to be able to chat and catch up with a bunch of my friends, while being all dressed up in 20's apparel. Props to Courtney to coming up with the cutest idea for a birthday party.

| So the fur coat and the dress were vintage pieces from the 20s. (Which was so dang cool!), I made the headpiece, the shoes were my mom's, the pearls were my mom's, and then I found the tights in my closet. |

| Also, I had a "Decade Dance" at church right before the party, so all of us mormons were already dressed up from the hours before. |
