Going to a Comic Con convention is something that has always been on my bucket list. I don't really consider myself to be a "nerdy" person or a person who is into sci-fi stuff, but I thought that Comic Con would be something fun to experience once in my lifetime. So when my friend Parker asked me if I wanted to go to the Salt Lake one with him and his group of friends, I jumped at the opportunity. I ended up going with my friend Chandlaur, Parker, Nick, and Nick's siblings. It was a good size of group because we could hang out, but some of us would still go off and do our own thing. Comic Con is definitely not for the faint of heart, let me tell you that. I'm not going to lie, it was probably one of the weirdest things I've ever gone to, but I think everyone should experience it at least once in their life. Pictures tend to speak better than words, so here are a couple of pictures I took while I was there.

So one of the big things at Comic Con is that everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) dresses up like some movie, TV, video game, etc. character. These two little girls were dressed up as pokemons and I couldn't get over how adorable they were. 

Also, a lot of celebrities come to Comic Con. Normally they charge you like $50-75 to get a picture with them, but Chandlaur and I got really good at taking secret pictures ;) Here is Christopher Lloyd. (If you've seen Back to the Future, he plays Doc)

All in all, it was a pretty cool experience with some pretty cool people. If you haven't gone to Comic Con, I recommend that you go at least once- I promise that you won't forget it or regret it. :)
