When one tries to write, it takes a lot of effort. There's prewriting, rough drafts, editing, and more editing. When one tries to write a blog post, it is a completely different scenario. Sure, there's some form of prewriting and drafts, but it is mostly the mind speaking its' thoughts. So, why then, is it so hard for me to think of blog posts when it is so easy for me to write an essay? That, my friends, is why I haven't written in several months. Sure, I can make time and sure I can write regularly, but it is the blog post ideas that really has me stumped. I read my friends' and family's blogs,then I just feel self-concious about my own posts because they honestly don't add up to the elaborate ones that they write. Therefore, I am going to try and continue my streak of writing regularly, but I'm going to suck it up and try to write better posts. So, bear with me if my posts sound repetitive or obnoxious. After all, I'm a growing writer :)
