Spring Cleaning

As you can see, my blog has gotten a makeover!! I'm really excited about it, especially since this is what I've been working on ALL DAY LONG. I felt like the "Daily Dosage of Rants and Raves" didn't describe my personality to its fullest. When I was about 7 years old, my mom bought me a yellow journal that had a super cute cartoon bee on the front cover and said "Don't Worry, Be Happy!" Although I have absolutely no clue where that journal is now, that phrase has always stuck with me and has become my mantra. So why " The Bright Spot"? My grandparents live in the super small town of Manti- it has probably less than 1,000 people in it. Anyways, there is the cutest old diner downtown called "The Bright Spot". It's been there for as long as I remember and all throughout my Dad's childhood. They sell delicious ice cream sundaes and TO DIE FOR fries. I love that place, mainly because it's cute and located in one of my favorite towns. Plus, it has tons of memories. My dad's high school football team picture is even hung in there. Recently, the guy that has owned it for so long- SOLD IT!! It has the same food, but they renamed it to Fred's Sports Grill- and it's all sport

s themed. Personally, I liked "The Bright Spot" better, but oh well. So, in memory of The Bright Spot and to keep a constant reminder to me and others of my mantra- "The Daily Dosage of Rants and Raves" is now "The Bright Spot"
