Sorry I haven't blogged lately- I just got home from being at Youth Conference (a post is coming on that soon). Anyways, while my family and I were visiting Colorado Springs, Colorado, we stopped by to visit Seven Falls. We went later at night since the waterfall would be all lit up. As soon as we pulled through the welcome gate, I was in heaven. Just the drive up to the parking lot was GORGEOUS. The rocks were all lit up and it simply looked magical. When I got to the actual waterfall attraction- I couldn't stop staring. I was in complete awe. I felt like I was in heaven- like seriously. You really have to experience this place for yourself because I can't even put into words how beautiful it was. It was so gorgeous and, by far, my favorite place. I loved this place so much that I forced my family to go back the next night (and my phone had died the first time we went, so I hadn't gotten any pictures). The second time I still had the same reaction. I really want to go back there- like SOON. There was something magical and romantic about the place. Wow.

| I found this picture on the web.... I didn't take it- but most of my pictures are super dark, so this gives you a better idea of what it looks like (from super far away) |
 |
| There are 2 different places you can go to see the waterfall(s). You can take an elevator that is inside a mountain to see a far-away view of it. Or you can climb up 224 steps to be able to go on a bridge that goes across the waterfall. I only went up the mountain elevator place once, but the super close bridge place twice. Going over the bridge is so much closer and so much more magical. |

| This is Sophi at the bottom of the waterfall- this is only like 1/3 of the waterfall pictured... but the lights change colors every couple of seconds. It's great. |
 |
| Another view from the bottom. The line that is lit up on the upper left of the picture is the stair railing. |
 |
Here's us starting the climb.... I have no idea who this kid is, but I guess he wanted to be in my picture... Where's this kid's parents- these stairs are dangerous!!!
All in all, it definitely tops my "Favorite Places to Go" list.
XOXO
