Families are Forever.

Last night, I read the most inspiring blog post I've ever read in my life. I feel so spiritually strengthened and humbled after reading this one blog post. I can't even describe how inspiring it is- you'll have to read it for yourself- click here.

I can't imagine losing your husband at such a young age, or even as suddenly as she did. Last night, I was thinking a lot about this and I thought about time. Time is everything. Every bit of time you spend with anyone you love is precious. You have no idea if that's the last time you'll see them or what will happen before you get to see them again. If I would have known that my Grandma was going to die before I got the chance to visit her again, I would have definitely said a better and longer good-bye.

From this post, my testimony of families being together forever was also strengthened. No matter what happens, you'll always get to see/live with your family in heaven again someday. And same with friends, you'll get to see them in heaven again someday. So, cherish every moment and remember what matters most.

I also admire Tiffany's strength throughout this trial. In Sunday school and Seminary, we've been talking a lot about how to endure a trial and steadfastly hold your faith. I love Jared's cousin's quote at the end of her post:" Experiences like this and trials this hard ARE blessings. But that doesn't mean they aren't easy. He won't make us run faster than we have strength. The trick is to get closer to the Savior and hold ever harder to the rod. We need to utilize the atonement of Christ to make it through. I know I am forever changed because of Jared and my time with the Johansens this week."

I bear testimony to you that families ARE together forever and that, if you have faith and hold steadfastly to the iron rod, then you will be blessed in the end.
