Trunk or Treat...

Sorry I've been gone for so long. These past couple of weeks have literally been some the most stressful, busy weeks so far. But I'm back (: I know that I have a lot of catching up to do, but I'll just do 1 post for tonight.

Last Friday night was our ward's Halloween "Trunk or Treat". Honestly, I didn't really want to go at first, but I'm glad that I ended up going. The funnest part of the night was probably doing the actual "Trunk or Treat". Since I have a car now, I was super excited to be able to actually include my car's trunk in this year's Trunk or Treat. It was FREEZING, but Karina and I set up lawn chairs and braved it out. We decided that we weren't going to let the kids come to our car more than once or twice because we still needed some candy for Halloween, and that ended up being the most hilarious part of the night. Karina was basically the enforcer of this rule, while I just sat there and laughed/felt bad for the kids. In the end, we ended up giving all of the kids a lot more candy than we expected because of my sympathy of the kids/ their super sad-looking faces... Hahaha Overall, it was one of the better "Trunk or Treats" that I've been to and it was a nice way to pump up my Halloween spirit.
